Hello Ladies,
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Thursday 14th May.
This month is our Resolutions Meeting where we decide on what way we’d like our delegate Eileen Harrison to vote at the Annual Meeting on 4th June, please come as every vote counts. There are 2 Resolutions to vote on :
Accessible Public Toilet Facilities to Promote dignity, health and social inclusion.
&
Action on Women’s Homelessness
There is a lot of information on My WI and you are urged to have a look before our meeting on Thursday, we will of course go through the wording of each Resolution so you can decide which way you want to vote.
As we have no speaker this month Marcelle has prepared a quiz for us while we have our refreshments may the best person/team win!
May l birthday girls are Samantha, Janice, Karen, Diana, Valerie Patricia and little ol’ me!!!…. Congratulations Ladies!
We will be completing the list for Hostesses this year and Janice Hook is coordinating this so be prepared with dates that you will be available please.
No Coffee Morning this month.
The Sittingbourne Group of WIs are organising a Summer Games Afternoon on Friday, 10th July 2.30-5pm. It’s a free event and will be held at Borden VH. Please let Jen or Marcelle know if you are interested or put your name on the list.
There are lots of events coming up for East Kent Federation and everything is in your recently emailed May East Kent News.
We will be a lunching a Bring & Buy table to replace the Swap Table so please bring along any items you wish to donate and remember to bring some cash for a small donation for those items you see and can’t wait to take home! All proceeds will go into WI funds or charities of our choice.
This year the EKFWI Charity of the year is the KSSS Air Ambulance.
Remember to bring your diaries we don’t want you to miss anything!
