Last year we had quite a few trips out to various places
We had a backstage tour of the royal Opera House in London. We hired a local mini bus, driven by one of our members husband. Had a very informative tour of the Royal Opera house. visiting rehearsals, props department and the amazing auditorium. We followed this by a lunch in Covent Garden
The also had a river boat trip on the Kentish Lady river boat. 20 people met on a lovely summers evening and boarded the boat at the Archbishops Palace, where we had a fish and chip supper. The trip lasted a couple of hours traveling along the river to Teston Lock.
Also during the summer we had a tour of Whitstable Castle. Another lovely sunny day and a very interesting tour of Whitstable Castle followed by afternoon tea in their tea shop.
7th March 2015 – Coffee morning Frinsted village Hall
On Saturday 7th March a coffee morning was held at Frinsted Village Hall. This was in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The sunshine bought out lots of people as the event was well attended.
From the sale of bric a brac, teas, Raffle and the cake stall we raised £313.18
