Well done ladies, I thought you were all natural Line Dancers! Thank you for all entering in to the fun of it. It certainly made a change.
A few of us are going to the Great Danes for a Christmas Beatles lunch on December 3rd .If you would like to come I may be able to add to the booking. It costs £30 for a 3 course meal and entertainment.
If you name isn’t on the list for the Christmas lunch on Saturday 7th December please let me know ASAP. So far there are 28 of us, so it will be great fun. This year we are asking you all to buy a secret Santa gift. You should spend no more than £5 and the gift must start with the letter W. Should be interesting!
There are several events organised by East Kent Federation in your EK news magazine. If you are interested in any of them just let myself or Marcelle know and we can book it
We have had many new nominations for the committee so some of you will be getting a phone call to see if you are willing to stand for election. A good strong committee means that we grow and the work load is evenly divided. Some of you may not fancy being on the committee but may fancy helping our occasionally. Please let us know if you feel you can help.
If you won’t be at the meeting your vote is still important. Please let myself or Marcelle know and you can vote by proxy.
Also at next month’s meeting we are collecting food for the Fair share Kent and Family foodbank. Please donate as much as you can. Then in January we will collect toiletries, any unwanted smellies can be put to good use. I really appreciate your generosity girls.
We are entering a Christmas tree into the Tunstall and St Michaels Tree festival. If you have not taken a gingerbread person kit (and you want one) please let me know and we will get one to you. They all need to brought in to the November meeting. It should be lovely to see all the different ones!
Don’t forget next month Dilys will start collecting next year’s subs. It is £43, either cash or a cheque to Milstead with Frinsted WI please.
