Hello ladies
Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday. Our speaker is a local lady, Hannah Farley Hills.
She has a theatre production company and she is a really interesting and inspiring.
If you are unable to attend don’t forget to let me know if you are coming to our Birthday Party on
Thursday 23rd November 7pm and/or the Christmas meal on Saturday 2nd December 1pm at The
Plough, Lewson St. We need a £10 deposit asap for the Christmas meal. I will have the price and
menu this week. For our party game can you purchase an item beginning with J that costs
approximately £5, wrap it and we will then have a lucky dip.
Both seem a long way off but will soon come around!
This months coffee morning will be on Tuesday 17th October 11am at Bredgar farm shop. Names
to me please.
This year’s Christmas tree festivals are fast approaching. The tree will be a sentimental tree
reflecting lost loved ones. If you’d like to be included can you give me a small photo of a loved
one or a few words about them. I’ll be showing you what I have in mind at our meeting.
On that note if anyone has a small tree they can lend us for the event ?
We are going to have a fun hour doing some chakra dancing on Thursday 26th October 11am in
Milstead Village Hall. This is just a nice bit of lighthearted fun. Please let me know if you want to
come. It is a free event.
Next months speaker is Sandra Whittaker from the British museum – not to be missed.
The hostesses will be Teresa, Tracey and Helen. Please contact each other to arrange what you
are doing. If you need any information please ask me.
This years WI carol service will take place on Monday 4th December at Rodmersham. Time tbc.
Next year we are joining a NK travel trip to the Panto at Brick lane on 14th February . It is £80 all
in. If you want to join us let me know, I’ll need money up front please.
On the 18th June next year we are having a local WI coach trip to Ramsgate tunnels. This will be
approx £25 inc a cream tea. I need an expression of interest please at this stage.
There will be lists for the various events on the table on Thursday but as always you can text me
on 07729828959 if you want to add your name or ask me for more details.
